Vans

The photo is from this series called Vans And The Places They Were.
I post this because if you haven't heard me say it before, if I could have any car right now it would be my friends dads van. It was a kick ass 70s van with a cool bubble window in the far back upper corner. But the best part was the airbrushed Molly Hatchet cover on both sides of the van.
Damn that car was awesome.

I had that Molly Hatchet t-shirt in high school. If you had one of those, you were destined to flirt with disaster.

Growing up in the south during what was considered the "New Wave of Southern Rock"
Molly Hatchet, Blackfoot, etc it was a must to have the 3/4 length concert jersey.
Check out Acid Sweat Lodge-
They research vans as well.

Reading these kind of posts reminds me of just how technology truly is an integral part of our lives in this day and age, and I think it is safe to say that we have passed the point of no return in our relationship with technology.

I don't mean this in a bad way, of course! Ethical concerns aside... I just hope that as memory becomes less expensive, the possibility of uploading our brains onto a digital medium becomes a true reality. It's a fantasy that I dream about every once in a while.
