Why Are Retailers Stupid?

There was a decent snow here last night.

I wanted to let Jett go out and play in it. Problem was he's grown lot since last winter and needed new winter boots. No problem I think, I'll run up to target.

Well they have no boots, no gloves, no hats.

You know what they do have?

A wall full of flip flops. They also have swimsuits.

While I do understand retailers preparing for the new season, I think it's gotten a bit out of hand. I would be fine with fewer choices later in the season, but absolutely zero choices seems a bit odd.

Luckily Famous Footwear had some snow boots that I bought for Jett.

He and I had a good time.

dude, that's hysterical. the same damn thing happened to me this morning. the exact same thing.

whoever is making those decisions cant possibly think people are shopping for flip flops in Feb. THere is no sense to it.

EXACT same thing happened to me. No snow boots at Target on February 11th in the Midwestern United States. Is Spring Break really that top of mind to everyone? Not me. Someone needs to get a clue. We bought ours at DFW on Manchester.
