Speed Photo Enforced

So Charlack is going to install cameras along a their stretch of 170 to ticket speeders under the guise of officer safety, but more in the reality of revenue generating.

In the article below there are comparisons to the red light cameras.

This made me think; how can a camera show proof you were speeding?

With the red light camera there are shots of a car in the middle of the intersection that show the red light. They also post video of the offense. And while I hate the red light cameras, they can easily show proof that the car went through a red light. They just can't prove who was driving.

But back to the speed camera, how does it prove you were speeding? There is no point of reference to make such proof.

If you know enlighten us.
