We went to the new house today. To do a little work before we move in and because there was going to be an easter egg hunt at the neighborhood park. So it seemed like a great way to meet some people and see how many kids Jett's age there were.
Well it turns out a woman I used to work with lives in the neighborhood. So she introduced us to many people. There were also at least 3 other kids who like Jett are all going to be starting kindergarten.
Jet had a great time at eh easter egg hunt and playing at the park. So then we headed back to the new house to finish up. We then met the neighbors on both sides of us. On one side there is a little girl who asked if Jett could come over and play. It was awesome that he already got to go play at her house.
We found out all sorts of great things about the school he will be attending.
We also found out all the cool stuff the neighborhood does. They have a halloween parade, free flowers for kids, movies in the park, a big 4th of july gathering, Santa at Christmas, happy hours in the park and more.
It made us even more excited to make the move.
