I got an email asking me to review some songs.
I am always happy to listen to new stuff and toss out my stupid opinion.
This time rather than a label the email came directly from the artist. So I downloaded the songs she sent me and put them on.
I am listening to them as I type this. It's good stuff.
It was interesting to also check out the links she had sent. Since the music made me picture the person performing. She didn't match what was in my head.
She tattoos.
She sings some cool simple songs that have a lot of texture.
She reminds me of Joanna Newsom, but with a bit more going on.
And she looks good in a hat.
