I remember being excited about this when it was coming out. Because it was by the director of Donnie Darko (which I love). But then I heard too many bad things about it so it fell off my radar.
It's running on HBO this month so I tivo'd it.
It might be one of the worst movies I have ever seen. Stupid scene after stupid scene. Bland acting. Suspense that you don't give a shit about, therefore it's not actually suspenseful.
The original short story the movie was based on is by Richard Matheson. It's ok. And other than a couple things the movie has little to do with it.
Avoid the movie at all costs.
