On a radio show I listen to, they had done a bracket to determine the best American rock band of all time. I didn't get to hear who won, but I am thinking with how it was going that Jimi Hendrix won.
Others that were on the list were Aerosmith, Grateful dead, Lynrd Skynrd, Van Halen, The Ramones.
You get the idea.
So who would you tag as the greatest American band?
Try to be a little objective. try to take personal taste out of it as much as you can.
