It was good. Not great as I had heard, but good.
Christian Bale is amazing. He is a true chameleon. He transforms into his characters.
But aside from that, it was a very predictable sports story. And that had nothing to do with it being based on a true story, because I had no clue who these people were in real life.
And I can say I truly hated the use of music in this movie. Some of the training scenes felt like a badly edited youtube video.
Worth seeing, but so not worth the best picture nomination it received.
