I hadn't seen it yet.
And now that it's won Best Picture, I'm not sure I can.
I had little interest to see it. And now if I do I will most likely dislike it. Since I will be hyper-critical of it the entire time.
So... to watch it or not.

my parents felt the need to see it twice which also makes me wary of watching it...
It's basically a period piece with a conventional sports movie plotline. Hopeless underdog, unconventional trainer, learns unusual techniques, has doubts, ultimately uses unconventional techniques to overcome odds. Good, not great. Solid acting.
