Why did I watch this?
I had seen the original only because it was one of those movies that I remember hearing about and had never seen. It wasn't very good.
And neither was this.
It was just mean.
Although there was a short bit of time that I thought they were going to take the movie into an interesting direction. I really was hoping that the one guy was truly so guilty about his deeds that he was the one after his friends, and that the girl was actually dead and he was just having nightmarish visions of her.
Would have been a far better movie that way.
But instead what we got was a Saw version remake of the 1978 original.
No need to see this movie. A true waste of time.
