Today is Valentines Day.
It's stupid.
I am very glad I am married to a woman who also does not give a crap about some stupid holiday that encourages yet another reason to be a consumer whore.
Love someone?
Buy them a gift when you see something they would like. Don't wait till some stupid holiday. Be original. Don't just go through the motions because it's what you're supposed to do.

I bought my boyfriend brownies because I wanted to eat them, and I let him pay for dinner because we split the check more often than not, but otherwise it was weird to see so many people out and about on a Tuesday, especially the valets and panhandlers downtown.
