I liked it, but I think I need to watch it again. I watched it while sick in bed, so I don't think I was prepared to really pay attention. Yes it is pretty heavy handed with metaphor, but it doesn't make it bad.
Directed by Andrew Dominik, who previously did The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford and Chopper. And I like both those movies.
Roger Ebert Review. He was not a big fan.
