I had been putting off watching this, mostly due to the 2.5 hour runtime. And I had heard mixed reviews.
I loved it.
It was an extremely interesting story, that tells 3 characters stories, but in linear order over the span of about 16 years.
It really seems to be about fate and the randomness of the universe. As well as how one small decision affects so many lives.
A very tense movie.
I am truly shocked this was not nominated for any awards this year.
I will certainly be investing another 2.5 hours to watch this agin. If you haven't seen it, I can't recommend it enough.
Trivia:
The title comes from the name of the city of Schenectady, which is the Mohawk word for "beyond the pine plains."
