Hourly Wage

This map shows what minim wage you need to afford to rent a two bedroom apartment.

I do think people need to make a fair wage. But I also think things have gotten a little skewed of what entry level jobs should be able to allow a person.

So for Missouri if one would need $14.52 to rent a 2 bedroom apartment, then that is 2 people who make $7.26 an hour to share that apartment. The current minimum wage in Missouri is $7.65. So they could achieve it.

I can remember my step father working more than one job to be able to have the money to have the life he wanted. So yes maybe if you only have an entry level job, you might have to work more than one job. You should also see it as motivation to get something more than an entry level job.
