If you have any inclination to watch this, AVOID THE TRAILER COMPLETELY!
I had read the book so I knew what would happen. But the trailer completely spoils the movie.
Now I enjoyed the book. It was interesting and not what I was expecting whatsoever. The movie on the other hand is a very weak interpretation of the book. I understand edits need to be made, I just don’t think they did a good job telling the story and making you really understand the characters.
I can’t believe this is up for best picture. I was very disappointed.
