Surgery tomorrow.
Went to Private Kitchen with friends on Saturday. It is a 4 table reservation only chinese restaurant. There food was delicious and very reasonably priced as well. FYI you can bring your own booze.
Smoked a turkey breast on Sunday. Delicious.
Nancy made an awesome meatloaf.
Watched some pretty bad movies. Wetlands which is a German movie about a 19ish girl. It tries too hard to be gross about sex and hygiene. I found it boring.
I also watched Lake Mungo. It is the story of a family and their teenage daughter who drowned and the odd ghostly things that are happening. It is told and shot as if it were one of those Dateline or 48 hours news shows stories. It was interesting but ultimately it was a let down.
Watched Hot Rod with Jett yesterday while he was home sick. He thought it was hilarious. Have to figure out a good dumb comedy to watch today, cause he’s still sick.
Had coffee with a friend I hadn’t seen in a long time.
Elias came over and mowed the lawn.
Been interviewing potential part-time summer nannies to hangout with Jett.
I’m hoping to be able to go to Kegs With Legs tomorrow. And to be able to go see Batman vs. Superman on Friday.
