I had really high hopes for this.
The trailers looked really cool. It was an intriguing movie that I was excited to see what would really unfold.
Maybe these high hopes were my problem.
It was just ok.
It was vague, sometimes in a good way. Sometimes because the writing felt lazy. It had potential to be truly original and great. But it ultimately didn’t play by it’s own rules it had established.
The performances were top notch.
But the movie just fell short to me. The parts that could have been an interesting movie were ignored. Instead we get a mostly boring chase movie.
