Love Like Fire

Opinions are like assholes. And since I'm an asshole I seem to love to give my opinion. It's what I do for a living boils down to and it's a lot of what I do here on the blog. So I will spout my opinion about the above mentioned band.

Love Like Fire is a four-piece from San Francisco.

Their sound makes me think of bands on the label 4AD from long ago. And that's not a bad thing.
They have a tinge of new wave with upfront strong female vocals, with big echoey guitars.

I've been meaning to get around to reviewing this for awhile. Part of my delay was I was just busy and when I wasn't I was a slacker. But the other part was my first sampling through this was done at a time I was in the complete wrong mindset for this type of music. I had been in a mood for 70's arena rock, so this just didn't hit the spot.

But now that I've gotten into a better frame of being open minded, I dig this band. And the video was very cool and made the song stick with me even more.
