Movie Reviews

One horrible. One very good.

Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist-
This was an unwatchable pice of shit.
We tried to give it a chance but it just kept getting stupider and stupider.
We lasted about 15-20 minutes.
That time was filled with some of the stupidest jokes (at least I think they were jokes) ever in a movie.
That this movie rates a 6.8 out of 10 on IMDB.com makes me sacred of how dumb people are.

Roger Ebert review.
"There is one merciful element to "Nick & Norah's Infinite Playlist." The playlist is not infinite. "

Visual Acoustics-
Our documentary kick continues.
All about an amazing Mid century modern architectural photographer.
Well worth seeing.

I just watched that a few weeks ago. Really good.
I have been on a Netflix documentary kick myself for about 7 months. I can't get enough.

One I recommend is
Harlan Ellison: Dreams with Sharp Teeth.

Also the Bukowski one was good but I bet you
have already seen it.

I need to get "Visual..." on our netflix one of the coolest things I did while living in LA was make an appointment and see the Stahl House. I got to meet Mrs. Stahl herself. She was excited to talk to someone who knew about the house and it's history. She was great

Great movie. I viewed this at Webster
awhile back. They had a Q&A after.
