Rambling- below.
I didn't even pay attention. So the last time The Flaming Lips were in town it was an all ages show, so my oldest son went with us. We show up last night to find out it was only 18+ because it was a Camel cigarettes event. Funny how it was ok last time for him to be in a club where alcohol was being served and people were smoking, but now because the laws have decided that cigarettes are evil and thrown down many harsh and silly laws he couldn't see the band. So I had to take him and his friend home instead. They got to keep their backstage passes as a souvenir, and they both ended up with signed posters from the band (a perk of having a brother-in-law who is in the band).
So I got a letter from the unemployment office yesterday saying that my an issue has been raised in my claim. They are going to call me between 1-3pm on Oct 2. So we'll see what the problem is. Once I know more I will let you know all the details. Will it an error on my filling out paperwork, or something else? We shall see.
No big plans today. Go to the grocery store, and hang out with the family. Low key days are a nice thing.

The Guided By Voices show was one of those Camel promotion gigs. It was going to be old folks anyway, the kids don't listen to them.
Truly a bummer for the Lips though.
Yes it was. They both lost all sorts of braggin rights for Monday at school. But they skated all night and played video games instead.
