Review

Bubble
Nancy and I watched this last night. It was really good. Almost a movie version of a short story. It's only 73 min. long. There is no dumb twist or typical Hollywood crap. It's just a straight telling of a few people who work in a factory together. I would say some it is depressing, not because of the lives the people have, but because it makes you think of how materialistic most of us have become.

Check this movie out.

Four facts about the movie:

The cast are nonprofessionals.

Simultaneously released on cable, DVD and in theaters.

Much of the film's dialogue is improvised.

The cast's own homes were used as sets.

Been a while since I've seen it, but I dug it...

The cast actually worked in the doll factory or whatever it was for something like a month, so they could get a better grasp of the job and the mentality of a factory worker.
