Friends With Money-
I don't know how I feel about this. There were things I liked about it and things I hated. It's a very vague movie so I think different people will take away different things from it.
For me it was hard to relate to because I don't have a tight net circle of longtime friends. And I have no desire to have any friends who are rich. I find it hard enough to talk to people similar to me let alone add in that huge difference.
I did hate some of the casting. I just wasn't buying that these women had been friends for a long time.
So it's running on HBO right now. so if you have it Tivo it or watch it or rent it. Maybe it'll click for you.

god I remember this movie being really, really awkward. It's also very hard to believe that Jen Aniston isn't super rich throughout the whole thing...it's like "stop whining, asshole. You're so whiny." I thought Tea Leoni was really good at being rich and snobby though, she was the one in that movie right?
Actually now that I think of it, all I really remember about that movie is that they were building that deck or second story or something and whoever was building it had this weird epiphany that it was going to obstruct everyone's view or something...sheesh. Cringe!
It was Catherine Keener not tea Leoni, same sort of look. They were building a second story on their house. My biggest problem is Jennifer Aniston is 7-12 years younger than every other actress in the movie in real life and it looks that way. So that leads to me not buying they are longtime friends.
