Seems like I should

Are there movies that you feel you should like, THAT YOU REALLY WANT TO LIKE, but for some reason you just don't?

A movie that may have your favorite stars or is by your favorite director but something just never clicked for you.

One of those for me was on IFC today. Roadside Prophets. It has John Doe (from X) and Adam Horovitz (from the Beastie Boys) in it. They are on a road trip on motorcycles. It is an offbeat flick. I always wanted to like it but could never make it through the whole thing.

The other main one I can think of for me is, Straight To Hell. I mean the tag line for the movie was; A story of blood, money, guns, coffee, and sexual tension. What's not to like about that? And the movie was by Alex Cox who at the time had previously made two of my favorite movies, Repo Man and Sid and Nancy. And the movie was full of punk rock legends. But just as Roadside prophets, I have never been able to sit all the way through this movie either.
