Look no further than this quote about the bailout plan:
"Meanwhile, Bond arrived in St. Louis from Washington on Sunday morning to discuss the bailout. He said he had not read the plan but expected to support it based on assurances from fellow Republicans that it provided "accountability, taxpayer protection, transparency and oversight."
"He acknowledged the bailout probably wouldn't be popular with his constituents. Of the approximately 5,000 phone calls about the economic crisis his office received last week, he said he knew of only one caller who backed a rescue plan."
Isn't he supposed to represent us?
So is he ever gonna read it?
