Election Day

Well I will not be voting today.

I have no interest in either of the two major parties. I don't believe in the lesser of two evils method of voting. Both parties are completely corrupt. If there did come a day there was a candidate I believed in I would do all I could to support them. But with the choices we are being given today I will pass.

Or if the electoral college was gotten rid of, that could sway me to vote. But neither party really wants to change any of the rules, since in the current system they get all the money and perks. And that occasionally they have to let the other be in power is a small price to pay.

The times of, for the people, by the people are long gone. It is for the corporations, by the rich. Look no further than the bailout plan the the people were against, but our representatives instead voted to help out their rich pals.

So sure we have one more choice than a dictatorship. So if it makes you feel good vote. Maybe someday I will too.

Why don't you go vote on the propositions?

That is a valid point.
And can only be answered with laziness.

But yes I should at least do that.

Are you for Socialism?

Some socialized things are a good idea.

If you were for socialism, you would've voted yes for Prop M and helped the STL public transport system out. Too many selfish bastards in this town.
