Seriously?
This movie I just watched is the one getting tons of nominations and awards hype?
It was ok.
Predictable.
Mediocre acting.
Completely unbelievable.
I would say that it's another case of American audiences liking it more just because it's about and stars non-Americans. Make the same schmaltzy movie about some poor mountain hillbilly and people would not be praising it as they do this.
