Wood

Earlier in the year I bought an insane amount of firewood.

Nancy gave me all sorts of crap abut how I bought too much and would never go through it. In my mind I had a ton, but it would be a couple years worth.

Yesterday while I was shoveling snow I looked at what measly amount of the wood was left. I had maybe enough for 1 more fire for Super Bowl Sunday.

Then by some miracle, my wood guy knocked on the front door. He was doing his end of his season run, and made me a good cheap offer. So I bought more wood. So now I once again have plenty for many fires in the house and for fire pits.

And speaking of fire pits, I need to have one again very soon. Maybe this Saturday or next weekend after Super Bowl.
