Ladies and Gentlemen, The Fabulous Stains-
I had never seen this. I had heard of it because of it's crazy cult status. Out recently for the first time on dvd, we watched it last night. It's a 1981 film about three teenage girls, including Diane Lane and Laura Dern, who start a punk band. Steve Jones and Paul Cook from the Sex Pistols are in it as is Paul Simonon from The Clash, Vince Welnick and Fee Waybill from The Tubes.
The music in it is very cool. I wanted to immediately get the soundtrack. But in typical record industry fashion, the soundtrack isn't available because of arguments over greed concerning rights issues. Why is it the record industry tends to ruin so many things? They were behind the huge delay for the release of freaks and geeks on dvd. And were also behind the delayed release of WKRP on dvd. Unfortunately WKRP didn't wait for the rights and release it without crappy stock music and not the real songs.
So see this movie and if you have the soundtrack can I get a copy?

Also isn't Diane lane like 14 or 15 and does fully nude scenes?
Great movie - has been in my collection for years.
How was Watchmen?
