What I Did Today

This will be my only post today.
I will continue to add to it as the day progresses.

Awoken to Jett calling out, "Mom!" in a variety of ways. I had to get him because Mom needed to get ready.

6:51AM
Let the dog out, fed the cat.

6:53AM
Had a pee race with Jett.

6:54AM
Told Jett to get dressed.

6:55AM
Made coffee, got Jett's breakfast ready.

7:00AM
Told Jett to get dressed...again.

7:05AM
Broke down and helped Jett get dressed, after we set up all his stuffed animals so they could watch him get dressed.

Printed a label for a cd of kids songs Jett is going to take to school.

Checked my email for the first of many many times today. Resent an email that I had gotten bounced back. Started my first cup of coffee for the day.

Got dressed.

Talked to Nancy.

Got my second cup of coffee for the day.

sat back in front of the computer to look at stupid sites I look at everyday.

Left to take Jett to school.

Dropped Jett off at school.

Stopped at Park Avenue Coffee for a cappuccino. Ran into a freelance editor who is doing work at 90DW, that I had met the day before.

Got to 90DW for day two of my latest TV spot edit. Chatted about Superfun Yeah Yeah Rocketship with a person here.

Got down to work. Well watching other people work and voicing my opinion.

Went and grabbed a banana nut muffin.

Saw an old friend and co-worker in another editing suite and chatted with her.

Got a phone call from a RMP fan.

Answered work email questions. Continued to look over the shoulder of an editor, finalizing shot choices.

Placed my order for lunch from King and I. I will be getting the Pad Spicy w/ Shrimp. Mmmmmmm.

Sat down and ate some tasty lunch.

Talked to a friend in San Francisco.

Continued to watch people work and answer various emails.

Went Pee.

Asking people if they know of any good out of work Art Directors.

Finished a bottle of water. Hydrated.

Was thinking about another cup of coffee, but then thought I should not.

Headed over to the photo studio for a Pre Pro meeting to go over wardrobe.

Looked at clothes for lot of people.

Left the photo studio. Checked emails on my phone. There were a ton.

Stopped to get gas. The empty light had just come on.

Stopped to get beer for the fire pit this evening. Schlafly Pale Ale.

Got home. Read more emails. Let the dog out.

Started the BBQ pit. Got the fire pit ready to go.

Fed the dog and cat. Guess what...more emails. Sent in time sheet for freelance stuff.

Nancy and Jett get home. The house is no longer quiet.

Pick Elias up from karate.

Start grilling burgers.

Ate dinner.

Went to Target to get Jett a prize for being a good boy at school all week The previous two weeks had been rough.

Got home with Jett's new helicopter and played with it with him.

Got the fire pit blazing. Cracked open my first beer. Hanging out by the fire with Jett till it's his bedtime.

Put the fire out.

Went Pee.

Brushed my teeth took 3 aspirin.

Checked on Jett.

Went to bed.
