Taxes

Driving in to work, flipping around to different stations on the radios, some of the talk revolved around if the Bush tax cuts would be extended or not. Most of the conversation was a very left wing vs. right wing talk. Boring.

What I don't get is why not just go to a flat tax?

No deductions. No nothing.
