Movie Review

Nightcrawler-

Jake Gyllenhaal was creepy as hell. His performance was certainly the high point of this movie.

The story was rather empty though. What was missing is why was he a man so desperate to be a success at something. That he didn’t care what it was. Why was he a bizarre friendless weirdo?

I did like that the story would give you pieces of dialogue and the answer was revealed later i nan interesting way, rather than having scenes that hit you over the head.

Maybe it’s that I’ve seen too many other crime movies, but there are things that happen in this that seem like giant plot holes.

Worth seeing, but not as good as I was expecting it to be.
