Director Richard Linklater makes the best movies where nothing happens yet they are about everything.
That this movie was made with the same actors over 12 years makes it feel like a documentary. Although it is a movie, but rarely has a movie truly captured the feeling of life as well.
This movie is far more than a technical marvel. It takes you on a path and makes you think of your own path. You know it is a movie, so you feel something movie like is bound to happen. What happens is simply life.
Well worth investing in the almost 3 hour runtime.

It's a huge gamble that really paid off. Everyone in the movie was great. Funny you mentioned it being almost three hours long, because it flew by. When it was over, I wished there was more.
